The reality of his words hit me hard. Everything he said was right. I was a monster, not a human. I was wearing a mask. A colorful, innocent mask.

Ivy is a psychopath. No one knows. She's kept her vicious nature from prying eyes for fifteen years.
To the eyes of the world as we know it, she's a perfect little angel; smart, athletic, kind, beautiful, even.
Then she goes to school, high school, for the first time.
Something about school is making it hard to wear her usual mask. Ivy feels it cracking slowly. She's losing her self-control- from fights in the hallways to blackmailing, Ivy is really messing up. But the world doesn't know yet. Although Ivy knows it will, if she doesn't paint on her perfect mask again...
Then just as Ivy thinks it's impossible, she meets Flint, the cool, confident, handsome guy that all the girls want. Somehow regaining her posture, Ivy competes to be his one and only. She is perfect for him. Everyone agrees, but there's a slight problem: Flint sees the monster under the mask.
How do you love a monster?
