"Windows" is a story about a woman who doesn't know how to handle the changes in her life and so, shuts out the world. It is 1,914 words and each word has a purpose. The story is told in a way that showcases how the main character, Ebony, longs for the past.

The people who care for her try and help her find herself again but it can only be done if she wants it to happen.
