"I guess I should start you off at the beginning..." she chuckled recalling the last time she had felt utter happiness, it hadn't always be like this. Eliza once was a happy child, or to others it seemed like she had been. When she was merely a child, maybe 8 or so, the atmosphere around her parents changed. At first it wasn't noticeable but over the next few months it had somehow gotten worse. They were arguing more now than anything, and it was odd because they were once a happy and loving couple but something changed. Things always changed, or that's what Eliza had told herself. She wanted to fell like she was the one in control not the people around her.
I'd like to apologize in advance, I have the basic plot for this story but as of right now I have no idea where I want to take it. So please be patient with me. 🤍

So this is the first story I've written, so please go easy on me with criticisms because I'm kind of terrified about this. Since then, she has been using them to fight crime in her city as the Ember. Then, a man saves her life, and she discovers that she isn't the only one struggling with powers. When somebody from her dark past returns to her life, Amy must learn to trust herself and face her fears. Trigger Warning! This story features flashbacks of a past abusive relationship, so if that's something that you're not comfortable with, please don't read! Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. She goes in and out of her life with her best friend everyday just waiting until they're both old enough to leave their small boring town.
