Sixteen letters, mailed out to all the people on the list. Once the person had finished reading them, they would mail them – all sixteen letters – to the next victim on the list. That’s how it went. That’s how I came home one day and discovered those letters in my mailbox. I never knew the impact they would have on me as a person, how much they would change how I looked at the world. But they did. They weren’t normal letters, ones written for family or close friends – they were suicide notes, written by Skye Kingston. Who would’ve thought that the most popular girl in school would end her life?
