Hey there everyone, I am new to Wattpad. I wasn't going to write anything on here but I was push to write one of my freshman essay I had done. I thought it wouldn't hurt to try so here it is, my story. I really don't know how to summarize this story but I hope that doesn't bother you. 8-) Enjoy!

[READER HAS NO SPECIFIED GENDER, USING THEY/THEM] A rewrite of the other Rui x reader fanfic I wrote in June 2023 because I felt like it could be better in all honesty. UPDATES WILL POSSIBLY COME SLOWLY. Please try to be patient though, it's very much appreciated <3 ^^^^ Literally slowly. I'd be lucky to even post 2 updates a month *maybe.* Update (08/11/24): NEW COVER RAAAHHHHHHHHH ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ -------- After realizing a lot of people didn't read the description on the previous Rui x Reader story, I decided to just put information relating to your character in the first chapter because I figure more people would read it of course (I hope lmao) If you seen the old version of this, you'll probably notice a good bit of plot has changed because it was lowkey really cringe, and the 'conflict' just felt like it was there only for plot. It wasn't ever mentioned again after or even before it, so yeah. Since I want this to be more realistic, there is a high possibility this will be a little more slowburn. Despite the other book having 15 chapters, putting the information together; all of that happens in about ~1 month and a half. Also I felt like Rui was a little OOC too, so you'll notice some changes in his writing possibly. I don't think I have much more to say here so yea.. We do stupid, stupid things in the name of those we love. We dedicate ourselves to false promises and we hope that in the end, it all turns out alright. I was never the kind of person who jumped into things without thinking about the consequences. I never dreamed of what could come from some silly mistakes. Two new students come for their 6th year at Hogwarts. Neither of them particularly want to be there. What havoc could a witch and a dark wizard bring to the year? As they both become frustratingly curious about each other, things fall in place that might never have occurred if they had just never met. ... So I started this book because I was bored, and now it's kind of my life accomplishment weirdly enough. It's not perfect and definitely not what it started out as but this fic has parts of my heart and soul in it and I'm proud of how far it's come.
