Nous sommes en 2016. L'union des nations unies a un nouveau projet, celui de donner un nouveau commencement à l'une de ses 7 villes. Il s'agit de Londres, Paris, Bruxelles, Berlin, Madrid, Lisbonne et Amsterdam. Le tirage au sort aura lieu le 14 août 2016, devant chaque ambassadeur de chaque pays. Les résultats seront annoncés le lendemain du tirage, à la nation " gagnante ". Nul autre pays ne doit être au courant de ce qu'il se prépare avant les résultats du tirage, sinon, le projet sera perdu. Seul une enfant, qui a,à l'époque 6 ans, surdouée, se rend compte du vrai danger de cette grande machine qui sera nommée " Le nouveau... "
