At 10 years old Callin is captured by a shadowy organization and brought to a hidden, underground lab. In the lab, along with other children near his age, he undergoes horrific experiments, genetic modifications, and surgeries, all while being trained to be an assassin. The lab telepaths, using drugs, brainwashing, and psychological manipulation, try to force him to reveal his inner power. They know he's much more than a normal boy, and want to use him for their own, dark goals. They do not know what resides inside of Callin. The beast within, the ravening, monstrous creature of blue, bioelectric fire that he's vowed to never set free, is steadily growing stronger, even as Callin's own internal walls are crumbling before the daily onslaught of drugs, telepathic manipulation, and memory transplanting. The lab scientists grow ever more desperate to force his power out as he approaches his fifteenth birthday. They resort to trying to force him to Bond with other girls in the lab. The resulting choas drives Callin to the edge of madness, and he begins to plan his escape. He begins to plan his revenge.
