It Starts With A kiss is a novel about a sixteen year old boy. The young teenager struggles to come to terms with being gay. He feels that he didn't exactly 'Come Out Of The Closet' as everyone calls it now days. All he had ever said was he thought he might be gay, then everyone just went on assuming he was gay. Even the kids at school thought so, all because of Ashlyn, who was the boys older sister by three years. She was always up in his business and he was sick of it.
