Magi Judar is tasked by Al Tharmen to resurrect the soul of a ruthless empress from generations ago to aid in populating their ranks, but events spiral once her vengeful daughter is revived instead.
With no knowledge of the mix up, corruption continues to spread through the empire's leaders at Al Tharmen's willing - although Judar is very mindful of the switch, as he's the cause of the err with every intention of turning the tide against his subordinates.
It's a war of wills and force, empires crumbling, and lives finding new beginnings - but will Judar's newly chosen candidate be enough to foil the long reigning Al Tharmen?

While she was gone, Naraku arrived planning to kill both girls but due to Reiki's dormant demonic powers and Naraku's recent awakening with his demonic powers, he could not fight off Reiki, and so he sealed her away. Upon returning, Chiyo learns what happened to her best friend and spends the next 50 years making herself stronger all while disguised as a man to make travel easier. Inuyasha is awakened and she searches all over the place for Inuyasha. After teaming up with Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku and Shippo, Chiyo leads the group to the demon slaying village where she once trained. They find the villagers slain before meeting Sango, who wished to kill Inuyasha who she believed killed her village. After seeing the truth, the group continues their journey to find Naraku and Chiyo crosses paths with the long foreseen true love that Reiki predicted that she'd meet one day, southern wolf demon tribe leader, Koga.
