Oswald Cobblepot, aka "Penguin" is on the rise to becoming the new king of Gotham. Pennelope Parker, is looking for opening jobs for her band Sinking Ship. As Cobblepot infultrates the two mob families, he's gifted Fish Mooney's club, and he isn't doing the best job at running the place. As Butch Gillzean looks for a new fresh sound for the club, he stumbles upon the perfect canidates.
Working in a crime ridden club you see a lot of things that you probably shouldn't, and that can cause Pennelope Parker to be thrown in the middle of the darkness of Gotham.
Will Penneolpe still be the same at end of it all? Or will she let the darkness in?

Into the Shattered Night
Nico finally gets out of that weird hotel, only for everything to be different. There are a lot more lights, and everyone is staring at this tiny screen, and the weird lawyer lady is watching him now. His dad visits sometimes, but not enough. His sister is growing distant, which makes sense, she had her own life. It still hurt sometimes though. Then things start to change. He meets the Waynes, for one. Gotham is a big scary place, when he's allowed out into it, but they're nice. And their dad is funny. A lot funnier than his dad.(Don't tell Hades he said that. Ms. Alecto keeps saying he'd smite Nico. Nico didn't believe it, but still.) So yeah. Gotham is fine. His life is... nice. Even when the lights flicker because Bianca is yelling at him, then Ms. Alecto gets mad at her for not controlling her emotions. Even when he's allowed to go outside and he sees ghosts. He doesn't tell Ms. Alecto about that, he doesn't want her to get mad at him. Everything is fine. Then these weird people started coming around their house, and Ms. Alecto started telling them to stay out of the house. Where were they supposed to go? Bianca says the library. But Nico kinda wants to visit their neighbors next door. They seem nice. Not weird at all. Y/n Pucey is no exception to that statement, so how is it that he's caught feelings so quickly for a girl who's no different from her housemates? ... Potter pauses for a moment, staring at me for longer than what's appropriate. His next words are so quiet that I can hardly them myself: "Do you fancy me?" My heart seemingly stops, and suddenly, we both stop moving. My eyes meet his green ones, and I see the same things I always do when I look into them; Him helping me at the Quidditch World Cup, him giving me his coat, him placing his hand on mine; I think back to all those nights in the kitchens, in the potions classroom, in the library. I think back to every word, every secret we had exchanged with one another. We knew everything about each other, yet nothing at the same time, and, at the moment, I realized he was much too close. I wanted to pull away. I should pull away, I think to myself, but... I stay put, frozen in place as I attempt what I think is a smirk. "Never in your wildest dreams," I then answer. And just like that, his lips land on mine.

Oswald Cobblepot only wants to graduate high school and move on with his life. His sole goal is to remain invisible so he doesn't get bullied. However, his life turns upside down when he meets the friendly yet socially inept Edward Nygma. What he doesn't know is that Ed has dark secrets of his own. Even though Oswald and Ed started off on the wrong foot, the two eventually become best of friends and soon Oswald realizes he's fallen in love with Ed. However, running towards his one true love doesn't go as smoothly as it should. Life seems to have other plans for the two young men. ~~~ "Edward." Oswald greeted through his teeth, slowly facing the boy with the glasses. "Why are you following me?" "I wasn't." Ed said. "I came to socialize with the football team in the shower."
