3 years have passed sense the Battle between APES, Project Adamas, and NIGHTMARE at Base-C4. Project is taking time to recover from its losses and plans out new strategies on how to combat APES as well as NIGHTMARE on both sides. Meanwhile APES and NIGHTMARE are battling it out over the weapon created by Project a long time ago as well as trying to secure Alice.
There are two scenarios you can RP this. One where you make a new OC and join Team Alpha X, the new and improved Team Alpha. Or Rp-ing as a returning OC coming back from whatever happened in the previous RP Book.

The Parallels
Everything changed when that power plant exploded, when the two worlds combined. Everybody has a doppelganger, a much darker, much more sinister doppelganger. Nobody trusts them and for a good reason. They're dark. They're terrifying, full of morose speech and unusual hobbies. But both worlds have decided to co-exist until they could find a way to fix this problem. It's been a year since the merge happened and Matthew has just started university. Everything is going smoothly. He's been pulled into a program along with a few others, including his brother, which encourages people to work with their Doppelgangers and requires him to live with his. But now there's a serial killer loose on campus and the second players are suspect. Can Matthew and his friends solve the case and restore the relationship between the two parallels or will this murder result in an all out war? I know that he is not scared to shoot if I didn't do as I'm told but I really didn't care if he shot me but then I remember the girl that is still behind me, that he doesn't know about. "You got to the count of three!" 'What to do, what to do, what to do!?' I say in my head "One!" 'Think! Think! Come on brain!?' "Two!" 'Come on!?....wait I know what to do...' "Three..." ~ Nova is the only dark ocean blue cat prodigy left. She acts normal in the monster/prodigy/human world. Ever since her family died. She became Nightmare, a criminal. Without changing a person's personality, undergoing the Alteration perfects their appearance, IQ, and even their immunity to diseases. No human passes the age of sixteen without being Altered. In the blink of an eye, things change. An ominous message is sent out to all of those below the age of sixteen, providing precise instructions that suggest they flee. Simultaneously, a deadly virus starts to spread all about the world, attacking only the Altered -- every human over the age of sixteen. The virus eats at the modified human brain, and soon the Unaltered begin to realise that the Altered are losing their minds. Home is no longer safe. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are.
