Kenzo Carson is a 22-year-old college dropout working as a full time night auditor at the Arrowhead Inn. He only gets one paycheck a month, but he's okay with that because he and his brother have a roof over their heads.

So, when he learns that his hotel has been fully booked by one business for quite the extended length of time, he doesn't know what to think because that has never happened before.  

Rafferty Montgomery is a 22-year-old Alpha werewolf running the Burrow Hills Pack in Kansas City.  He had hoped to meet his mate before he took over as Alpha, but life is unpredictable and hardly ever goes as planned.  Forced to take over two years ago after the deaths of his parents, Rafa is a strong, smart, and kind Alpha.  He protects his pack with everything in him and he does his best to make sure everyone is treated fairly and with respect, especially the Omegas. 

As fate would have it, the Burrow Hills Pack house falls victim to arson and is completely burnt down.  Rafa is beyond angry, but he is thankful none of his pack members died in the attack.  Having to rebuild from the ground up, Rafa decides to temporary rent out a nearby hotel for him and his pack as they reconstruct their lives.  Blindsided by this sudden attack, Rafferty vows to start a war against whomever dared to threaten his pack and home.  And when Rafa vows to do something, he won't stop until he gets what he wants.
