Amelia always thought she was normal.  She lived in a normal town.  She had normal parents.  She went to a normal school, everything around her was normal.  She had no expectations.  She thought she would live her life, meet a sweet normal boy.  Get married, raise a family of her own and die peacefully surrounded by loved ones at a nice old normal age.

As she stares down a dragon, the hilt of a broken sword in her hand.  She realizes maybe life isn't all that normal anymore.
