Hunger Games
"Finn you can't be serious?!" I messed with my brown locks, pacing the room nervously. "Rose think about it, there is no way they are going to believe we are THEIR children, not after what Gale did" Finn tried to reason with me. He has always been the more collective one, out of the two of us. "You do know we could lose our lives." I startled him with the volume my voice possessed. "Well my dear sister, what do you suggest we do?" He was starting to get annoyed with my antics. I could tell he was enjoying our trip to the capitol before all this. "We make sure the games never happen while we are in the Capitol" I pronounce proudly. We would stop the games, or one of us wouldn't make it out alive. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I'm Nik and this is my first book, so please be gentle with the criticism :) Please point out any mistakes so that i can fix them. (I do not own this franchise, all characters apart from my own are created by the lovely Suzanne Collins)

"I've spent all of the love I gave, we were always a losing game." Calliope Whittmore never knew the feeling of true heartbreak until she was wrapped in the arms of her childhood best friend as they said their final goodbyes. It was a long and quiet hug, she could feel the boy shaking in her arms but she had to be strong for him. "You can do this, Peeta," she assured him, "I know it." They pulled from the hug, Calliope gently held his face as she wiped away Peeta's tears. "24 of us go in and only 1 comes out," his voice shook. "And that 1 will be you. I know it. I'm rooting for you, Peeta Mellark." Peeta Mellark X OC #3 in Peetamellark 01/01/25
