Torida is a Skin Changer. She's enlisted into the Company of Oakenshield by Gandalf for protection, and a cool head. Thorin doesn't trust her at first, but after she helps save them from goblins she strikes his fancy. After they enter Mirkwood, he finds that his emotional attachment to her is being challenged, by the Elf King Thranduil! Many battles and events will happen on this journey, maybe even a little love.
