A warrior for the Valkyrior, Brunhilde, is pulled from her training to be presented as a possible bride for the next king of Asgard, Loki Laufeyson. She is immediately furious with the family she so recently fought so proudly for. However, when it is revealed to her that Loki did not want a bride and is only doing so because of his father, her anger is slightly lessened. She is forced to live in the castle and wed Loki in less than two months. While she is deciding who to be angry at for deciding her fate for her, the future king finds himself wondering if he is ready. Both of them are looking for something in life, but neither of them know what. Will they find what they are looking for, or will they be torn apart by their desire for something more in life?
