Thomas Jefferson and Angelica Schuyler just so happen to meet in Paris at a ball. Thomas is immediately interested in the bright young woman, and Angelica, of course, will never admit any feelings are there. Even though they must part at the end of the night, their story will continue far beyond. Follow this not-quite-enemies-to-lovers-but-basically tale of wonder and woe.
