Secuelas de una larguísima nota de rechazo es el primer relato que, con 24 años, escribió Charles Bukowski y fue publicado en Story Magazine. Como todos sus textos, este relato es claramente autobiográfico. De hecho, al poco tiempo de escribirlo se desilusionó con el proceso de publicación y dejó de escribir durante una década. El relato cuenta de manera magistral los sentimientos de un escritor que continuamente ve cómo son rechazados los originales que envía a revistas y editoriales. El final es completamente inesperado... Este relato estaba inédito en castellano hasta ahora.
