Summary:

On Earth in the distant future, slaves have been created by scientists and they are known as Notehanders. Millions of these creatures are now mass produced due to high demand. One of these Notehanders is named Electri. Electri is owned by her Masters and she awaits and plans the moment for her escape. However, a shocking series of events make gaining freedom a challenge.
