"You made flowers grow in my lungs and, although they are beautiful, I cannot breathe." ~ ❄️ Chat Noir's heart is turning into glass. A glass heart starts to form when one confesses their love, and is rejected. The only way to cure a glass heart is for the victim to move on. If the victim does not move on, they will suffer for eternity as their heart slowly turns to glass and prevents them from feeling love at all. The victim would be cold and alone forever. 🌸 Marinette suffers from Hanahaki Disease. Hanahaki Disease spreads by not confessing your true love. Victims will cough up petals while thorns choke their heart. The only cure is when the beloved returns their feelings, and if they don't return the love, the victim will die. There are only two ways to cure the disease; it is if the person they love returns the feelings or it can be removed through surgery, though the feelings disappear along with the flowers.
