The Final Splatfest was just meant to be fun and games like the rest of the competitions. That was all it should have been.

But when Team Order won, everything changed. Marina was never who she used to be - more controlling and manipulative than the kind and gentle girl she once was. An enforcer of Order willing to slice down anybody that dared oppose her.

So why now does Inkopolis pay the price, and what is it paying the price for?

I will now be posting everything unedited and unfinished for the sake of not feeling bad about the "talent" that middle school me felt when writing this. I wrote this because I couldn't find a good Splatoon 2 fanfic and decided I'd do it myself, I still use that kind of motivation to write things like music now 💀 Eyyy, so i was playing Squid Splat earlier and felt inspired! She can still turf and fight and do what most inklings do, but what makes her stand out is her colors. Her colors aren't like other inklings you see in Inkopolis. Like Marie and Pearl. Her hair color is white and changes color depending on what she wants and almost always changes her hair style. She also changes eye color constantly. So sometimes no one even recognizes her. She heard of rumors of the old subway station and she's seen another inkling who's told her that he's an agent...agent 4, near what seems to be a sewer? With the octarians making Their advance on inkopolis it's all up to one teenage girl to save inkopolis for good with the help of Marie but sometimes it can be hard to balance two things together and as Tess gets more involved in her missions, her friends become for suspicious of her. It's all up to her to fill her role and find out Marie's past before inkopolis drowns in octarian forces. A/N: as I'm writing this I'm correcting some of my older chapters.
