This is a small writing piece I wrote when I was having a conversation with a good friend of mine about how scary space is and in an instant of a moment I wrote this small piece. The Black Bird
This is something I'm working on for fun and I'm not super great at writing so I apologize if some parts of this story comes off as iffy. The cover photo will definitely be changed at a later date so please, bear with me for a little. All art depicted on covers is all accredited to a friend of mine. It appeared suddenly without warning. There was no sign of it anywhere, it just appeared. No species on any world was prepared for it nor the chaos it brought. Its appearance was something miraculous, it healed the sick and blind, it awoke those in comas. As if it wanted everything to witness it in all its glory. But the chaos that followed was unprecedented. It changed the terrain of the world and turned society into pure anarchy. But he survived. It deemed him, this boy, as worthy. Now he has a simple task. Make it to the top of the structure, meet with God. What will he do when he meets him? That's to be found.

"Don't tell anybody about this." "If you just ignore it, it'll stop." "There's nothing I can do to help you." And so I did everything I was told. I shut up. I put on a brave face. I followed all the rules. But that was the past and it's not who I am anymore. I will be loud. I will be angry. I will tell the truth. Look what you've done. You gave me a story to tell. ----------------- Unfortunately, a true story. DISCLAIMER: This is my side of the story and, with the exception of a few voicemails/text messages/statements from friends, it all comes straight from my memory. As is the case with most PTSD brains, my memory isn't very good so I can't 100% confirm the accuracy of anything, but it is written almost exactly as I remember it. The Only
I lost myself somewhere between space and time. I repeated my name over and over, refusing to leave myself behind. But the more I decintigrated, the more of myself I lost, until everything, my name, Timmy's smile, even my parents were forgotten. I found nothing but black space and white silence. The longer I stayed, however, the more vivid the colors became, and then they began to take shape. After what felt like hours, I was myself again, strapped to a chair with Jesse materializing in front of me. I'm Stasey. When the aliens attacked Earth, myself, my best friend Jesse, and my "friend" Timothy may have been the only people to survive. We're on a quest to find other survivors and potentially save our planet, but to do that we have to avoid being shot, eaten, or falling in love. But sometimes things work out differently than we expect, and we have to make the decision: sacrifice ourselves for the ones we love, or the ones we love for the ones we can save.Concluída

He meets a woman when she almost dies next to him in a cave. It's a lonely world out there, and these two wayward souls have to discover it, and who there are. • • • This is an experiment for me. I wanted to try my hand at some creative writing, and I thought Minecraft fanfiction would be a good foyer into online writing spaces. Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." He brings his hand, sticking his pinky out. "pinky promise."I wrap mine around his, placing a kiss on his lips. Warning before you read!! This is my first book!
