This is a small writing piece I wrote when I was having a conversation with a good friend of mine about how scary space is and in an instant of a moment I wrote this small piece. Megan attends college at Clemson University and she has a boyfriend, Christian, that she has been with since high school. She has the great best friend, nice apartment and car and she's a year away from her degree, but something just feels missing. Megan doesn't hate her life by any means... She's just gotten sort of bored with it, always feeling like there's something else she needs... Until she meets... Noah. She never expected to meet someone like him much less feel the sparks that ignite as soon as they meet eyes.... Can she just ignore feelings like that? INCAPABLE - BOOK I: THE FALLEN
ONCE my mom told me that we, as humans, only fear what we do not know and that that is the sole reason for violence. We do not know what is to come of something, so in retaliation we immediately fight it off before we can ever find out; before we can ever see if there is any beauty in it. My mom is gone now. Along with any sanity we as a people have left. The year is 2193, and the world is at war. We, humans, are at war with each other only because of what we are and what we can do. We fear what we do not know, thus all we know is ignorance. The government, our democracy, our people and our world have fallen. Nothing good ever comes from being afraid of the abnormalities of others, especially when those abnormalities are amazing. The truth is, none of us are normal. Everyone's definition of normality is different, making it humanly impossible for anyone to ever accomplish the craved label of "normal". Then again, everything we have grown capable of was once described as humanly impossible. By those standards none of us are human. Not even me. A U T H O R ' S N O T E : This book is completed and there will be a second book coming out sometime next year, most likely in the summer. Please excuse any grammar issues or misspellings I have. I hope there are not many, but please consider I do all of the editing myself. Also this is a revised edition of Incapable - Book I: The Fallen. Her dark hair mirrored the direction of the wind, the setting sun being replaced by the brightness of her smile. We were sitting so close I could feel her warmth. It was an unusual situation. Friends don't do this. We held eye contact for a long time before I couldn't take it anymore and just closed my eyes. It wasn't real, she was just my friend. Then, I felt her tuck a strand of my curly hair behind my ear. That with the chill of the night sent shivers down my spine and a swarm of butterflies attacked my stomach. I reopened my eyes. If she didn't want me, why did she look at me that way? I held her hand and I held it for so long because I didn't know if we'd have another moment like this. We talk and laugh and she tells me I'm pretty and I ask her if she'd just noticed that and we laugh again. I realize the feelings I felt in that moment were not just the intense feelings of attraction that I felt every time I was with her. Warmth flooded to my face and if it wasn't for my dark complexion, my blush would be noticeable. I look into her dark-colored eyes and I come to the conclusion that I'm royally fucked and I'm probably also in love.Complete

This is something I'm working on for fun and I'm not super great at writing so I apologize if some parts of this story comes off as iffy. The cover photo will definitely be changed at a later date so please, bear with me for a little. All art depicted on covers is all accredited to a friend of mine. It appeared suddenly without warning. There was no sign of it anywhere, it just appeared. No species on any world was prepared for it nor the chaos it brought. Its appearance was something miraculous, it healed the sick and blind, it awoke those in comas. As if it wanted everything to witness it in all its glory. But the chaos that followed was unprecedented. It changed the terrain of the world and turned society into pure anarchy. But he survived. It deemed him, this boy, as worthy. Now he has a simple task. Make it to the top of the structure, meet with God. What will he do when he meets him? That's to be found.

The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever."
