"You wanna change? You need to make that change", his voice was neutral, uninterested and I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "And how do I do that, Ryan?" He looked down at me, a small, sly grin etching across his face. "Good vibes only babe." I let out a loud sigh, folding my arms. "All I wanted that night was a good workout, instead I got you." He sent a flirty wink my way. "And you only love me for it, Harris." ********* Amelia Harris seemed like your everyday typical girl; good grades, loads of friends, a gorgeous boyfriend and a well respected family. But behind the rose tinted glass, it wasn't all that perfect. Snobby friends, an unaffectionate boyfriend and a stuck up family were only a few things Amelia had to deal with. When trouble maker Jayce Ryan walks into her life, uninvited, things gets a whole lot more complicated. She is thrown to see a side to him no one else has seen before, and is even further shocked when he reveals that he knows exactly what she's going through. And when he says he'll help her overcome her demons she's been hiding from the world, she's forced to follow his one rule; good vibes only. As her newfound friendship with Jayce causes shockwaves among her loved ones, she finds her loyalty being tested as she's made choose between those she's known all her life and the only person who understands her. Is this the start of a beautiful friendship? Or the ultimate disastor? Cover Credits: @Illumaenance

... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!
