One Saturday morning, a walk to work changes April's life forever. She stumbles upon the schools bad boy, Jacob Green, unresponsive and tries to save his life.
With Jacob going in a downwards spiral, she takes her chance to make amends for past mistakes and hopes to make him realise there's more to life then what he's living.
But highschool, scholarships, and a possessive boyfriend makes April question her own life and it's soon clear that Jacob is changing her, just as much as she's changing him.
