Liar Liar

Evergrout, post "apocalyptic" Earth. Basically like something you would read about in Hunger Games, Divergent, or Matched. But unlike those books from the old days, my country has many major differences.

One being: this is actually happening.

We are the opposite of a free country. Told what do do, when to do it, and the punishments we will receive if we don't. They make us believe we have a say in our lives: we don't.

In the midst of all the chaos, Shawnee Evans, the wallflower. Blending in, and doing why she's told; just like every good little "government-controlled-robot" in Evergrout does.

Shawnee is different, however, seeing as she doesn't accept something just because it's given to her. That and the fact she has photographic memory, the ability to remember anything you have ever seen or heard. Shawnee, Shaw for short, also has the unique ability to detect lies.

Her "abilities" help her see through the crap the government is feeding them.

But what if someone finds out?
