Lucy Heartfilia is one of twelve children. Among those twelve children she is the only Girl. She was raised around all those boys for her entire life, some wonder how she retains her girly life style. She lives around boys who do nothing but slob around and mess up the house, all while watching TV. She has to clean up after them and do all the housework without ever complaining. She's sweet and caring, the boys probably couldn't live without her. 

Natsu Dragneel takes a liking to Lucy. She's sweet and kind and caring. Most of the girls at Fairy Tail high are fake like that. They are head over heels for the them, but his eyes only see Lucy. He never went after her because he thought she wouldn't like him. So instead he dates all the other girls at Fairy Tail High. He gained the reputation as a player, something Lucy hates since that's what her dad is. He has so many children but the first four, including her, we're her mom's. The others were born from other woman whom he cheated on Layla with.
