Mylo Scott is a 17-year-old, gay guy who lives with his mum's older brother, Kyle Scott; as his mum is a Naval officer who is currently deployed and he hasn't seen her in person in eleven months. They've video chat once every 2 weeks but isn't the same as seeing her in person. He plays the saxophone in the high school band and has for best friends; Austin, Tara, Carlos and River. 

Jace Montana is an 18-year-old, gay guy who lives with his dad, Jason; and he plays hockey for the high school and has two best friends - Nikolas and Carson. Jace has a huge crush on the hockey coach's nephew, Mylo.
