Since Albus and Scorpius survived a great adventure together in the fifth year, much has changed. Scorpius joined the Slytherin metlobal team, won the school cup, and suddenly he was no longer least popular loser at school. The only one loser left was Albus Potter, the son of a famous wizard. Young Malfoy suddenly became Mr. Popular with a handful of admiring girls and a new beautiful girlfriend. The entire sixth year is a misery for Albus and he begins to think about their decaying friendship. He realizes that this is no longer just a friendship, but something more.
