Have you not seen? War is a cruel and dark place, where the world has set out to destroy itself. Not all are swallowed up by the death, for there are those who seek to put the world back together, piece by broken piece. Some would call them fools, others heroes and life savers. They are the saving grace in chaos of war.

~~~~~~
Dracma and Tusron are in the midst of a war over the island of Iala, a large strategic piece of land that would give either country a vantage over the other country across the ocean. The two countries have been at rival with each other for as long as anyone can remember. Not even the desert countries of Messai and Rokar have fought as long as these two world powers have. The four continents and four islands wait with baited breath to see which super power will win the war
In the end, it's the small ones that suffer. Only their bodies are scattered across the battlefields, full of wounds, arrows, and hate in their hearts, which, like poison, runs through their veins, contaminating both the body and soul. They are subject to the sharp words of those great beings that constantly play around with the lives of strangers, hidden from the eyes of those who die for them, hidden in their castles that the little souls can't reach. And while the vultures slowly cut up the bodies of the fallen warriors, their spirits walk across the battlefield trying to figure out why they were killing and why they ended up dead. Why the empty eyes of their bodies stare into the dull sky, looking up at the castles of those who are greater than them and who are still alive and healthy, only now, with a smaller number of beings who will leave their lives on the meadows for them, hoping that the greater ones will honor the sacrifice that they have made at the altar of the homeland. After all, there is nothing more sacred than an artificial creation, such as the homeland, for which one gives his or her life, the one thing that someone lives for, the one thing that is worth dying for. Life is transient, consumable. Death is the one thing that cannot be avoided. Whether it comes in the form of a sword, poison or age, it is always present. The spirits of the dead are constantly awake, forever with open arms, welcoming those who are about to arrive. Death is a part of life and life is transient. Death does not choose, and life doesn't forgive. In the end, we will all become dust and ashes.
We're all pawns in this game played by those on top. From the moment we can process what they're telling us, we're led to believe that we must kneel before superiority. Bow our heads to the kings and queens, the powerful men and women who sit high on their thrones. To them, we are nothing but tools, obstacles, and threats. For this life is nothing but a constant battle between immortals. The individuals on the pedestals, and the ones in the dirt. So, how may we get out? How much blood will be spilled, tears shed, final breaths taken, before this is all over? People are lost in the game. They don't come back. Sons and daughters, parents, siblings... all slaughtered in this power play. Through all of this I have lost. I walk upon the shattered past left in my wake. I wish for death to finally arrive, but it never does. There's a crown of death atop my head and there's nothing I can do to change it. We were ready to make a difference. When death came to our doorstep we refused to let it take us, not without a fight, but it was a futile attempt. No one can stand in the way of a king starved for the power of it all. Tainted by ambition and violence. And with that, two thousand soldiers drew their swords for a war they would not win.
