Sierra is a sixteen year old loner girl who moves to a small town with her parents and little sister, Katelyn. On her first day of school, she meets eyes with a mysterious silver eyed boy known as Rat, another loner. They exchange some words then one day he up and disappears, only to appear weeks later on her bedroom floor with a gunshot wound. After hearing about his secret and her family's, she begins to question the her surrounds and the people in them then herself.
