Paris, New France, European Republic: Victoria Bellrose has had a simple calm life. She has no drama with anyone at Montveira Academy. Well, maybe with Xander Montala. "The Guy" of the academy and the most vile human ever.
Life carries on until she encounters two girls. Both independent in their own ways, both with a certain shade of red for hair. Both holding secrets that can destroy and strengthen Victoria's life.
On her eighteenth birthday, everything shatters in a dive of showering glass, fire, blood, and magic.
She is saved by her enemy and savior.
She is saved by a group of warlocks that both give her reasons fear and praise them.
With no means she is bounded to one the warlocks of the coven, a bound of hatred and love. He seems to see something in her. Something that isn't love or friendship or hatred.
Soon she finds that she has new family and that an evil is hunting her and the beast she is bounded with. The beast has latched onto the beauty of Salem blood...

Remaining both physically & mentally intact within the confines of Beacon Hills wasn't always a struggle for Rachel Hale. There was a time when the town had been her home, a place she'd never so much as consider leaving for more than a short vacation. A time when she had a family, an actual home where she could feel safe at all times & a best friend she tell anything to. For awhile, Rachel was starting to believe she could have that again. Her time in London had come to an end as the beginning of junior year neared, and for a whole week, Rachel had believed that maybe, just maybe, she'd be able to continue on with the normalcy she'd had for the past two months. Beacon Hills had supposedly been the epitome of boring for the entire duration of her absence, and Rachel had truly believed it would remain so in her presence. Her brother had moved into a new loft, she was starting junior year with her best friends & no one was trying to kill them- it was everything she could ask for. But as the story goes, all good things must come to an end; especially when Rachel's friends & family are no longer the scariest things lurking in the shadows. New threats are in Beacon Hills & this time, they're a lot more sinister. An alpha pack wants Derek & they're willing to paint the town in the blood of everyone he cares about in order to get him; all while a dark druid is running about, adding to the body count with its ritualistic sacrifices. Innocent people are dying, time is running out & everyone seems to think Rachel holds the key to stopping it- unfortunately, they're forgetting a crucial piece of information. Reflectors are just as breakable as their object counterparts. [3A & 3B - Unspoken sequel] © 2016 // Aly aka @insatiabIe

Virgil's always stayed in the shadows... literally. He was born with the ability to control them. He's mostly used it to make shadow creations when he's bored, or talk with his own shadow---who's pretty much his only friend. He doesn't know where the hell his powers come from, but he's not interested in finding out. All he's interested in is trying to get through sophomore year without a) failing, or b) embarrassing himself in front of cute guys. That is, until some British kid in a beanie---who can apparently shapeshift---shows up and tells Virgil that he's one of many people in the world with powers. And there's a place for teens to learn how to control them... and how to be spies. Soon, Virgil's navigating a new group of friends, crazy teachers, hidden biases, and an irritatingly dramatic (and adorable) roommate. High school's already hard enough without learning how to be a spy-slash-superhero, but hopefully, with enough luck, lack of will to live, and advice, Virgil will be able to make it through. Welcome to the Academy of Supernatural Investigation and Defense Education---otherwise known as the Academy of S.I.D.E. (This is loosely inspired off of Gallagher Girls, just with superpowers and disaster gays) Cover done by the amazing tazmaniendevil
