Evan woke up in a strange place, with strange people, some with strange, almost supernatural abilities.  Evan and the rest of his group are thrown immediately into a world of work or starve, contribute or be cast out, pull the trigger, or meet your maker.

After all, they aren't alone on the island.  The Cloud looms, hideous, once human monsters lurking within.  But something's changing the Cloud and its monsters, and not for the better.  Evan must jump headfirst into his new life, or be crushed by the conflict.


SOTO is a story four very inconsistent years into the making, but by no means is anywhere near done.  I'm posting to see what people think of the story, so please do comment to show your love, or maybe some criticism too.  I am a busy college student, so uploads might be inconsistent as well, if enough people enjoy the story i might pick up writing again.  but for now, i'm looking for feedback :)

IMPORTANT: like i said im a busy college student, ill be posting more of the story as much as i can, but just because i publish another chapter doesn't mean that's all that chapter is, more often than not ill go back and add some more later.  so if you begin a newly published chapter and it picks up in an unfamiliar place, chances are there is more to read in the last chapter.All Rights Reserved

This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. "Are you just going to let her talk to you like that?" he goads Alex. (Complete. 70k words.)

Not only was Jude taken by the Scrappers, but he was also the first one to survive them and now they want him back. With the Scrappers still hunting them, Morgan and Jude travel east in hopes to find more humans. As their group slowly grows, Jude hides the secret about his arm but when one of their group betrays them, he's found out. When they leave Jude behind for the Scrappers to find, Morgan surrenders herself over with him, even when it may cost her her life. As final a battle rages around them between humans and Scrappers, Jude and Morgan may be the key to ending it all.

Broken. I'd say that's a good way to describe me. Even as the world fell to pieces, I still desperately tried to collect mine, hoping that maybe I could put myself back together. But when the world turned evil and dark, and insanity fell upon the innocent, I had no choice but to build a new Beth. A new girl. That way, no matter how many people I was forced to kill, I wouldn't shatter. Excerpt: The mistakes of your past will affect your future. I've figured that out over the years of mistakes I've seen bleed from my parents. I don't really know how to describe the consequences of those mistakes, because you can see them all over my body. You can see the bruises from the beatings and the pain flashing in my eyes. The moment you realize I won't smile at you because you're a man who could potentially overpower me and harm me... it's heartbreaking for some people. I've gotten used to the belt lashes and the screaming and the crying and the rejection. So much so that when it was taken away, that scared little girl inside of me tore through my walls, and I broke. If he didn't learn how to handle hardships and what it's like being a human in that time frame, he would die. Jack soon meets an unexpected rescuer who takes him in and cares for him. Not only is he fighting against time, but the Boogyman decides to make Jack a target. Will he learn his lesson? Or will he die in 3 months time? If he is to survive, what will happen next? What will happen to Pitch? **This book is not all light hearted, there are serious topics included in it.**

While reading this; Remember that not everything is as it seems. Remember that loved characters will die. Remember that the world will gradually get worse as the parts go on. Take a moment to ask yourselves these questions: What would you do in the name of survival? Would you steal to survive? Would you kill to survive? Would you lose your mind to survive? If you lost your mind, do you think you'd kill more, steal, injure, backstab, rape or any other atrocity you can think of? If you can think of it, then maybe you would. The characters and situations in this book are very real, if gore or horrific mental images scare you, then I wouldn't recommend reading far. DESCRIPTION: The Infection claimed the lives of over 3 billion people before the TV's went off. But it would claim many more. The problem didn't arise when those people got up and started walking again, or even when they started eating and infecting others, it began when people got desperate. In this new world, the true evil that humans are capable of gradually becomes more apparent, and a part of everyday life. Normality doesn't exist, people don't help other people. Friends aren't a thing anymore. All anyone truly has is themselves, and the burdens they carry.

This is a novel about a topic we technically made up randomly and if there are any mistakes, errors, or just places I could fix and add more details please tell me, I want to make this book enjoyable and exciting to read! Also please be aware that some of these will be notice's and this book does need and have a blood warning and a swear warning! Please do be aware if you can't deal with blood this book does get descriptive (Partly true) and I will be explaining what scars, burns and wounds look like and the pain felt for them. This book is more themed in the future than it is nowadays. You may also find some technology that is more futuristic, and there are things talking about the past. Most of the book is switching between views of the main characters. We want you to expect the unexpected in this book, for example: Most books don't kill off the main character, we want you to think we will kill off one of them. Most of the characters in this will have birthdays and age in the background and it may not be written. There will be more books coming out so we will end this one on a cliffhanger.

It's the future, and a war has knocked out half of the human race. The jungle has taken over most of the land, and people live in tribes or groups deep within the forest. Every group has a population of at least 300, and all of the tribes are against each other. Naikee lives in a group called the Sowadan group, and they live in the south region of the world. Each group is forbidden to go past the gates that hide their villages. Naikee is sick and tired of living within the walls of her villages, and she's always wondered what it would be like to go past them. On the morning of her Celebration of Life (basically a birthday), she finds a whole in the wall and runs past the gates and into the wild. After days of traveling she accidentally runs into a group called the Kaiboo, which are one of the most dangerous groups in the world. They are known for their cannibalism, though no one has ever dared to enter their gates. Before anyone can capture her, a boy named Mika runs into her and takes her to a secret underground storage. He only goes to her and talks to give her the meals at morning, afternoon, and night. After several days of this same thing, Naikee finally confronts him and makes him tell her whats going on. They get to talking, and he comes back to check on her more often now. As she develops a crush and they fall in love, they don't realize but they might be changing the course of history. Note: I'm sorry about the spacing, I'm not exactly sure how to do this because it's my first story. Someone can comment to me how to space if they're bothered by it, but just know each new section in a chapter is meant to be a new paragraph. Thank you so much fo reading!!! @allie!!!!!
