Many lion prides are filled with myths and stories, and many of those stories are simply made up for the cubs to learn to behave... but after many years of hiding, one myth rose to the surface and threatens to take the lives of every pride. One cub devotes his life to finding the other lions of this myth to stop the coming of a great monster, but in doing so, he has to travel to other prides while trying to protect his own. Can he trust the others around him? More importantly... can he trust himself and his own memory and the memory's of a different time flowing in? Will he be able to realize his own destiny before it's too late?

The Great White Lion
(LEO - Book 1) There was a boy with a red scarf in the village. Some would say he was weak. He wasn't the type to train with his teachers or maybe even hunt for food in the mountains. He was there with his mother, little sister, and his two best friends. How dangerous could that be? There was a village up the mountains, neutral territory, called Meridth. This village contained the magician's power of taming beasts, or simply put, Beast Tamers. They say you only have one spirit partner your entire life. Only the strongest of animals were linked with the strongest of tamers. How did the boy with the red scarf get linked with a legend? The legend of the great snow lions scared everyone. They were able to perform magic just like them, even giving them a human appearance to ward off predators of humankind. They were intelligent, ruthless, dominating, and the king of the pride. There was only one white lion left. One day, a man was caught snooping around the village. The man spotted the boy in the red scarf and just knew. He was the one. The powerful lion knew that the boy in the red scarf was him, his savior, his reason. Finally, the legendary beast met his tamer. Positive comments are always welcome. Whether it was my moving, my fear or they could smell our visitors but they began to whimper and squirm. Both lioness perk up at the sound. 'Stay away.' I tell them. 'You've babies? This is not the place for them.' One says, the other shifts her weight. 'The blood, you just gave birth didn't you? Where's your family? Can we call someone?' 'No. Go away, let me rest for a time and I'll take my babies and leave your territory.' 'You can't just wonder around with a newborn. How are you going to care for them. Come with us we'll take care of you until you get back on your feet.' 'No, I don't know you. Go away.' 'We won't hurt you.' I couldn't believe that, I couldn't trust these strangers. The Lion King - The Bonds of Trust

When they are forced to return to The Pridelands to face Mufasa's evil brother Scar, will Shani fight her fears to help Simba take his place as king and find out who she truly is within herself? Does Scar have anyone left on his side or has he, due to his past actions, created his own lion graveyard? He'll inevitably have to face his former self, Taka... Scar/Taka is such an interesting character to write about, and with this story I'm deepening myself into his chaotic mind & am crawling into this thin lion's skin. *All Lion King rights belong to Disney!
