A Kingpin's Pursuit

Jade-Marie is a 22 year old girl who faces many hardships in her life. In her eyes she is no beauty queen, she's just a plain Jane. It doesn't help that her brothers Kenny, Mike, and Otis are constantly on her back telling her what she can and can't do. She just wants to live her life and be free. She doesn't know what would happen if she tried to face her brothers seeing as in the past when she tried to do something fun she got in a lot of trouble with her brothers. Although she doesn't feel like it she does have someone in her corner. Her brother Kenny's best friend Jerome better known as King. Jade has always liked King and she knows that he stands up for her from time to time but she feels like he only does it because he feels sorry for her.

Jerome aka King is a 25 year old kingpin in New York everyone is afraid of him and no one dares to step to him. He is no one to mess with and has no weaknesses. King has had feelings for her for some time now but refuses to accept it seeing as he has been hurt in the past and refuses to allow himself to care for anyone, but when it comes to her he can't help but to feel something for her he just pushes it down and chooses not to think about it.
