He'd watch her pluck at them: one by one, two by two. All she would ever eat was cherries. All dark and crisp with raspberry juices and a nut of a seed. He'd see her go through a whole bag of them every signle day as he watched her from afar. He wondered if she ate them by herself because she could and wanted to, or because she had no one else to share them with. He was curious, if he went over to her right now, if maybe she would share them with him and he'd become that special person she shared her beloved cherries with. But then again, he also wondered if she would share her cherries, would she share her world with him as well.
