Joker and The Phantom Thieves were on a mission to mementos to steal a shadow's heart. During the battle, Shukuchi's shadow cast out an attack causing The Phantom Thieves transporting different places but, instead of being at the upper or lower parts of mementos or at Leblanc he ends up in a another dimension with people who have different abilities, these strange abilities are called " Quirks. "
Joker learns that in this world Heros and Villains exist, it's like something out of a comic book. Joker tried contacting his friends through IM but, only error messages occur. Is it a glitch or can't he really no longer contact his friends? He tried calling them, nothing. Soon after Joker learns that there is school that is called UA, a school where you can become a hero.
