When Olivia Brown's life is upended because of her father leaving her mother, she starts to have a very rocky relationship with life. She faces trials and tribulations not many 17 years olds should have to, leaving her feeling hopeless. She becomes untrusting due to everything it throws at her, making her new found loneliness seem impossible and never ending. Meeting Zac Tyler happens right in the middle of all her emotional turmoil. When he accidentally gets a glimpse into her life and sees exactly what's causing her stress, he involves himself in helping her through it. But Zac has his own set of issues with life, ones that he try's to hide from her. There is trauma they are both dealing with at the same time as they try and heal each other. Will Olivia forever define herself with everything that happened before summer, or will she grow into the version of herself that forms after?
