In a post apocolyptic London, a tyrant has taken over in the most viscous and deadly coup d'etat the world will ever see. With life in the country clinging to existence and people struggling day to day to survive, an eighteen year old girl, Estelle, as adopted into the only resistance to this great evil; The Recovery, a haphazard group of talented people. With many young warriors donating their time and possibly their lives, she fits in and forms bonds with each member there as they fight and persevere alongside one another. Friendships are born, tested, and grow into more. Fighitng alongside her new family, she learns what hard times do to people, how they change them, and how she has also changed herself. When tragedy strikes and one of their own faces the worst fate, they will put all their lives on the line for the sake of friendship, family, loyalty, and love. But no one comes out unscathed from this world.
