As soon as Asta turned 18 she moved from her hometown, hoping a change of scenery would do her some good. She never was able to make it work back home, and she really had to get away from her old life. 

Unfortunately it's the same old story. Asta was never able to fit in at school or the orphanage. In fact she got bullied a lot. She always looked like the odd one out. With her bright orange hair and two different eye colors she stood out like a sore thumb.

Inevitably this lead to bullying,
The only thing keeping her going is wanting to graduate and receive a diploma. Maybe then she could start to find out who she really is. 

On a day like any other Asta drives over to Langdon High. Upon arrival she gets called into the principal's office and receives a letter.
