"Did you ever consider having that arm examined by a professional healer?"

His question put an end to her chain of thoughts, prompting her to look down at the still raw wound on her forearm, where Bellatrix's dagger had carved up her flesh to spell out the word- Mudblood. The bandage that she always kept wrapped around her arm to carefully cover the brand had been removed and it was bleeding again. No matter what she did to staunch it, the injury seemed to be a pain in her ass, stubbornly fighting to make it's presence known and now it had somehow taken a worse form. Snape couldn't hide his flinch as his eyes refused to be torn away from the bruise and it was hard to tell whether it was her predicament or the term itself that disturbed him more.

"It's killing you."
****************************

This story is set post war. Hermione has joined back in Hogwarts to finish her education when she realizes that stress and trauma has caught up to her and now she has to deal with a terminal curse. As she struggles to cope with the disease physically and emotionally, she finds the unlikeliest of persons as her caretaker and companion.

#triggerwarning for anyone suffering from terminal diseases or chronic illness. Every life is precious and unique and everyone reacts in different ways to suffering. This story is not meant to be didactic or propound any moral cause.

And again, I won't be giving any trigger-warnings at the beginning of the chapters so as to not spoil the surprises. I hereby give an overall trigger-warning since the whole theme is adult as well as the sexual content

**warning this book is for mature readers only - please read with caution** It is a slow burn, which team are you rooting for friends to lovers or enemies to lovers? I don't own these characters they belong to JK Rowling. In the aftermath of the Second Wizarding War, Hermione Granger returns to Hogwarts alone. While the rest of the world celebrates victory, she silently battles the scars left by torture and trauma-wounds visible only in the bandages she refuses to remove and the nightmares that haunt her sleep. Abandoned by Harry and Ron to their Auror training, Hermione finds herself increasingly isolated, until an unlikely connection forms with George Weasley, who bears his own invisible wounds after losing his twin. As their tutoring sessions evolve into something deeper, Hermione begins the slow, painful process of rebuilding herself from the ashes of war. But darkness lingers in the wizarding world. When Hermione uncovers disturbing information about the Ministry's treatment of returning Slytherin students, she's drawn into a dangerous investigation that forces her to confront her former tormentors-including Draco Malfoy, whose presence triggers memories she's desperately tried to bury. As Hermione navigates her growing feelings for George, she finds herself unexpectedly drawn to Draco as well-a complex attraction built on shared trauma and unexpected understanding. Caught between the comfort of George's steady warmth and the dangerous pull of Draco's complicated redemption, Hermione must untangle her own heart while the world around them threatens to unravel. With evidence mounting that Death Eaters are regrouping under new leadership, Hermione must navigate complex moral territory, questioning whether justice can exist alongside vengeance, whether understanding can coexist with trauma, and whether love can bloom in soil still toxic with the residue of war.

The war is over, but what's this... Snape's Alive. And teaching potions again?! *gasp* Neville ans Seamus got paired up in potions... 😑 Not only was it wrong, but it exploded to. On Snape! He got a little younger and has to take a potion that will slowly help him regain his age until he can't take it anymore for safety reasons. Harry has been tasked with watching the Professor because... Plot? Anyways, they share a connection some how (plot?) And don't understand what is drawing them together (Snarry shippers?) Anyways. That's the basis. Read on my friend! Read on! WARNING!!! CONTAINS TRIGGERING CONTENT!!! CONTAINS SMUTTY MATURE CONTENT!!! CONTAINS GAY!!! 💕 ALL CONTENTS ARE GRAPHIC, AS PER USUAL WITH ME. HAVE FUN! ^^ I own pretty much none of these characters. There is a teacher, she's not a character per sey. I'll explain her on the final part when I do my "fun facts" ending. However, just give all character rights to J.K. Rowling. Cept for Alex + family and the teacher. They're add in's. She's a reference to a very real person who did the same thing for me in regards to being there. She was my 6th grade teacher and was the very first person I ever met who made me feel like I could do something. That I wasn't just some useless freak. Sadly, the summer after my 6th grade year, she died in a car accident near my house. I will never forget her and still cheerish her memory to this day. (I do all my own art. If you're interested in writing a story, but need title art or feel like a scene you're writing needs an image, message me and we can talk)

Warning: If you haven't read the Tightly Knit Series, read the other books first before continuing on or read at your own risk! Clara Easton had a more than decent life before the start of the Second Wizarding War. Upon her first year she was sorted into Hufflepuff, made friends and enjoyed her schooling for the first few years. She was kind soul and described as beautiful by her peers . She lived up to traits of her house dedicating herself to working hard and remaining loyal to those she loved, especially when the Battle of Hogwarts arrived. She, along with hundreds of other students remained at the castle to defend their school and secondary home against the Dark Lord and his followers. During the battle, Clara fought bravely, but it wasn't enough to save her from the damaging scars she received from a werewolf attack. She was thankful to survive the attack, but it left her with scars that she could not hide from her peers. At first, she wanted to hide herself from the world, but the need to complete her education brings her back to Hogwarts once more where she ends up seeing a person she least expected to return. Draco's seventh year didn't go exactly how he envisioned it would, with the responsibilities of a Death Eater looming over his head, Draco felt like he never got to experience his seventh year properly. He returns to Hogwarts, fully aware that his previous actions have left him with a tarnished reputation that he is certain he cannot recover from. At least not without a little help and the last place he thought he would find help would be from a Hufflepuff. Slowly, the two students realize that second chances are not given to make things right. But are given to prove that one can be better even after they fall. *Part of the Tightly Knit series*
