Hi! I'm Joanna. I'm not really that special and I definitely don't think I can entertain you by saying that I am.
I'm in junior year of high school and haven't been too excited to be noticed. Thanks to my best friend Rose, I get all the attention that can make a person like me, sick to the stomach.
Not to mention my other best friend, Noah also is one of the popular jocks in school, and has the girlfriend everyone dreams about having. Katherine.
Oh, and did I mention that I was in love with him? No?

Noah moved to a new town just a few weeks before school starts back up again. He meets a few people on his bus and they end up best friends. One of them tells them about a party that they got invited to. They invite Noah and their other friend along. Noah gets sort of lost but finds his way to a corner. "That was weird, but I can't stop my heart beating ten times faster than it should be. Laying down on the bed I face away from the bathroom door not wanting him to look at me. I pull the white cover up to my nose and look at the wall. I hear the bathroom door open and footsteps reach closer to the bed. The covers are being moved behind me as Mateo gets ready to sleep. I reach up to turn off the lap on my nightstand, and when I do we're left in the dark abyss of my room. Mateo's arm wraps itself around my waist and pulls me back into his hard chest.
