They can't stand each other. To John, Alex is just a stuck up snobby smart kid who wants nothing to do with anyone. To Alex, John is just a rich boy with no problems and can't understand simple things. In a world where whatever you write on your arm appears on your soulmate's arm as well, however, they find they are not so different and have different feelings for each other. They just don't know they're each other's soulmates yet. When they find out will they put aside their differences? Or will they ignore it completely? Alexander Hamilton is selectively mute, depressed, and just altogether damaged. His soulmate, John Laurens, knows it too, from the overwhelming waves of sadness he feels occasionally to the aching pains in his forearms. John wishes that he could help him, but he knows nothing about his soulmate. However, the odds are in Alexander and John's favor when Alex enrolls in Kings College, where John is a student. John might find Alex, but will it be in time? Can he save him from James Reynolds? WARNINGS: There is rape, angst, depression, cursing, and lots of other stuff that is inappropriate for young reader. I can't stop you though. Basically how the soulmate thing works like: When you kiss your soulmate, a band in your skin forms on your left ring finger. You can change the band to look however you want. If your soulmate is feeling a strong emotion, your soulmate feels it too. If you get hurt, your soulmate feels a muffled version of that pain. Yes I used a Heathers quote as the title FIGHT ME (Don't actually I'm weak, there's a reason I act instead of playing sports) (Not that acting/dancing/singing isn't hard but ya). I really had no idea what I was doing when I started writing this so sorry if it's weird or things don't make sense. All characters belong to Lin-Manuel Miranda and all those people DON'T SUE ME Me looking back on this story: F*ck, this is so angsty and cringey, but I can't take it down because it has so many reads. *cries in author*Complete
