Travis Mackleroy has just moved to Louisiana, from Chicago. He wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life, and spend it somewhere more laid back. He lives in Thomasville, a quaint town, 20 miles from Shreveport. However, he keeps getting pulled over by Harriet Brewster, a female state trooper for the Louisiana State Police. Travis hasn't done anything wrong, and he has a hate hate relationship with Harriet. As soon as Travis regrets moving to Louisiana, he soon develops a love interest in Harriet. He soon finds out, that she was just lonely, and needed someone to talk to. They hit it off, and Travis falls head over heels in love, Louisiana style!
