After an accident 20 years ago left them with mysterious psychic abilities, The Valence has secluded themselves to work on better understanding their abilities. When they experiment by injecting mortal 14-year-old Bryce with the mysterious energy that inflicted their transformation, it is up to Valerie Darrell (an ostracized member of The Valence) and Bryce's mortal brother, Vince to rescue him.
The saga is recommended for readers 13 & up for violence and mild language.
