It was a relatively normal day in Ikebukuro when it happened. Everyone was going about their day just like normal, and nothing that strange was going on. Izaya was only fast asleep when an unexpected guest had entered his house. Despite it supposed to be unexpected, Izaya had expected it for a very long time. He had always known this was going to happen one way or another. It had only surprised him when that guest came into his house, not to hurt him, but for a different reason. A classic story of from enemies to lovers unfolds in the midst of what seemed to be a tragedy. Despite the circumstance, the tragedy was just a helpful set-up to the real story at hand.

  • no...it can't be. (SHIZAYA)

This was a truly twisted story. Both of them had always been at each other's throats; always on the edge of a sharp blade and curled fists in the middle of a challenge. Never have they cared for the grey slump of a crowd standing in their way; their eyes full of hatred, full of passion, following each other. Perhaps they felt less lonely that way. Something happened then, and masks slipped, anger redirected, and the will to hurt had transformed into something less transparent yet much more enticing. $$ "You bring out the worst in me, damn it! And it goes both ways." "Well, I'd like to think we just keep each other's monsters at bay, Shizu-chan."
