Project Chimera

The year is 2508 and takes place after a large-scale nuclear war apocalypse that forced humanity- nearly completely wiped out- to rebuild civilization and create new rules to avoid another world-ending catastrophe. The Kingdom of Axia, Union of Trerton, the state of Yidfield, and the Alliance of the Vram Territories have signed the Treaty of Second chances which outlaws crude oils and fossil fuels, and prohibits any ruling nation of engaging in any energy mining that is unsustainable. The Prime Minister of Yidfield has accused the Hail family, the ruling family of Axia, of engaging in these illicit business practices by trading these energy sources on the black market- which breaks the terms of the treaty and is grounds for war.

Axia where our story takes place, is governed by a monarchy with a disparaging caste system, reserving energy rations and bits- their currency- for the ruling or noble class. We join Operatives 32, 48, 67, 118, and 210 as they awake from a cryogenic state of sleep, memories completely erased, as they learn to hone their new abilities into dangerous tools, overcome the procedural side effects of erratic dreams, and bloodlust. And, more importantly, who they might have been.
