"We're not good together.  Bad things happen.  I can't be around you anymore." Nathan spoke barely above a whisper with the most pained expression on his face.

"You can't do this now. Not now. You do this to me...leave me with no guard I'll..I'll crumble. Your moody, over protective and God you piss me off at times but I love you and your the only person thats been brave enough to look beyond the act, the clever one to know it was just an act."  Tears flow from my eyes but Nathan wipes them away with his thumb.

This is the story of Gretchen Rousso.  A typical seventeen year old high school student with an attitude.
