**This story has cutting and suicidal thoughts / possible actions. DO NOT read if it is a trigger**

Each of them were left traumatized from that "Failsafe" mission.

But some more than others.

Robin refuses to stay at the Mountain long, and when he does it's only for the obligatory training. After that he always retreats to his own room in the Cave.

Granted, Batman believes he's better off staying at the Manor but Alfred can't watch him 24/7 when he's busy with League business.

Robin is frankly annoyed with his paranoia but due to Robin's... past trauma and coping methods he understands. Still doesn't like it, and he makes that well known.

The Team however are getting seriously weirded out with his attitude. Were they affected by the simulation? Absolutely.

But it's been weeks now, and Robin's demeanor has only gotten worse.

Wally is the only one other than Batman that's able to get more than two words out of him but that's not saying much.

Why is he behaving this way? And will he resort back to his old coping mechanisms?

Inspired by Instagram account: talon.grayson Extract from the book: Inside the cave the scene was still silent. Some lay in sleep within the pool of blood, and not a sleep they would ever awake from. Others sat in silence, utterly defeated from the half day they had spent in that room with Talon and the utter fear he had made them feel when he hunted them all down. A hunter and its prey. They had been put closer together now as well, Talon had deemed that they could talk but they were still separated enough that none was within reaching distance of the other. But they didn't want to talk. Some of them wished it would end already, like M'gann. Some were struggling to keep up their sass, like Artemis. And some were trying to stay in control, not to let their emotions get the better of them because that's the boy they raised doing this god-forsaken things to them. But the control would not last. Everyone knew that at some point the Batman was going to break. And he was going to break the hardest. So they sat there, chained and restrained in their chairs, wearily watching him as silent tears fell to the floor and mixed in with the red of their fallen friends. Jason had been walking for nearly twenty-four hours and his hopes for finding anyone in the cave alive were dwindling with each second. But he had gone and done the noble thing, he had gotten help. Maybe the three of them could stand a chance at beating Talon, maybe they wouldn't. But they had to try, it was the right thing to do. So the trio headed to the cave, not stopping to rest for the night because they could feel the danger in the air, they could tell that this strange boy that had turned up on their doorstep was telling the truth. A truth that could destroy America for good.

"That name's familiar, right, Mr. Wayne?" Gotham City's vigilantes find a mysterious young woman in building rubble, unharmed but shaken. No reason for being there, no origin, record or trust, even in the Batfamily. Then she drops a bombshell; she knows who Batman is and she's determined to face him. After outracing death, unprocessed demons of the past and present have caught up. Her refusal to trust anyone brings tension to the Batfamily and envelops the Justice League, exposing her connection to a man whose very moniker makes them wonder if she's trustworthy. Why pursue them, or what chased her to? Walls must crumble on each side to help who she was before emerge--from memories even she's reluctant to acknowledge. She may also just be a kindred spirit; damaged. Dark connections are never evident, and unimaginable worlds exist outside your comfortable cities or worst nightmares... but love, family and loss is universal. Mourning alone, far from home, is where no one deserves to be. *Recommended ages 15+. Based in the 'Wayne Family Adventures' universe (not including chapter 7, that's a joke, non-canon chapter), featuring plots, characters and timeline factors from other DC movies, universes and comics, but some original concepts for certain, small DC characters. (I own nothing, it's fanfic. Cover photo is the Webtoon art with a stock image. All belong to their respective creators/companies.) Strong language, violence and implied sexual or intense situations. Brace yourself; that's the trigger warning. The protagonist is an OG character.
