MacKenzie James was never one to back down from any challenge thrown her way. She was beautiful, strong, independent, confident and over all had a great outlook on life. To the world her life was perfect. She was a well known YouTube user, posting videos of her covering songs with her own twist to them. Her small acting career was just about to take off. And all this was happening with her college love by her side supporting her. In front of the camera it would seem that her life was perfect. But behind the camera it was anything but perfect.

MacKenzie's personal life was going up in flames while she stands in the spot light rising to fame. Unsure of how to handle all the lies and betrayal, the violent nights that kept turning into tear stained mornings. She feels like she's about to break. Will Mackenzie crack under the pressure or does she find a helping hand in the darkness that consumed her?

Brantley Gilbert was trying to get out of the hole he dug for himself.  After long time love Amber, cheats on him and leaves him, he looks for comfort in drinking and drugs. His faith starts to waiver. It's unclear if he'd make it out of the darkness he surrounded himself in. Until one day he finds hope in the most unlikely of places. Scrolling through Facebook, he comes across a video going viral. He starts to pull his life back together piece by piece and with a little help, he finds his strength to continue on.
Will these two find their way or will the weight of their worlds crush them?


Story is set to start in 2016 before the Take it Outside tour. And will eventually end up in present day. So please bear with me. Not all of the events will take place they way they did in real life.
