What was happening to Alfred now was beyond any situation he had ever been in before.

It was, of course, a bad situation, but not as bad as being stabbed multiple times and having no one attend attend your funeral.

But still pretty bad.

You see, Alfred has what some would call an 'eating disorder'. Specifically bulimia, but we don't get into that. What's important is that he was put into a mental asylum. And his foster family abandoned him.

So here he was, at Tromsø BHC, seeking asylum.

He has amazing friends, and an amazing family who love and care for him dearly but, he doesn't feel this. He feels like he has to be perfect. With the pressure of school, and having to keep up to the social norms of a professional swimmer, it's hard for Alfie to concentrate. He needs the help. And to do this, Alvin helps. Alvin helps him find his worth, take control, and makes his life easier, or so he seems. His best friends, Killian and Ruby, know Alfie inside and out. They know his family life, school life. And this is because Alfie is a simple person. He has never had a detention, nor has he been expelled. He's a straight A student with no history of alcohol or drug abuse. Will they suspect anything? How will Alfie proceed with his excruciating pain. Will he cover it up or will he find the courage to speak up and seek help?

He'd learned a lot in it. That England was easy to gaslight if you knew what you were doing. France would back away from any show of force. Germany could ignore a bumbling idiot even as the evidence piled up just because he wasn't very good with people. Poland saw everything and read people like a book. Prussia would keep his mouth shut if you gave him enough liquor or made him obedient. Russia would turn a blind eye if you turned one to him. China never trusted anyone even if there was evidence of the contrary. His mother's revenge would play out, and it would make him the happiest man in the world. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hetalia:Axis Powers. No ships in this book! If there is it's in the past! It was a normal day. But, since that's a cliche line often used before stating that the day was, in fact, not normal in the slightest, it quite obviously wasn't a normal day. So lets start again, this time without suggesting anything strange is going to happen. There's not much worse than being proven wrong, and the sentence 'It was a normal day' was asking for something unusual to happen. Fortunately, the sentence in question was not one you'd often see outside of being the start of bad fanfiction, so it was highly unlikely that a sensible man like Berwald Oxenstierna would ever say it, and since this story focuses on him, there is no point on starting with that dreaded sentence. "It was a normal day." Said Alfred F Jones, a bored american on a completely different continent to the unfortunate Berwald. "Well what did you expect?" Asked the american's twin, the equally bored but much more sensible Matthew Williams. He received a glare in response, and there the two sat for the rest of the day while nothing happened. At the exact moment Alfred said the cursed words, on a completely different continent, a Danish man with enough hair gel in his hair to keep an Italian from running away climbed into Berwald's car and ordered him to drive.
