What was happening to Alfred now was beyond any situation he had ever been in before.
It was, of course, a bad situation, but not as bad as being stabbed multiple times and having no one attend attend your funeral.
But still pretty bad.
You see, Alfred has what some would call an 'eating disorder'. Specifically bulimia, but we don't get into that. What's important is that he was put into a mental asylum. And his foster family abandoned him.
So here he was, at Tromsø BHC, seeking asylum.

When Fear Takes Hold
A new, deadly disease is spreading, and although necessary precautions are put in place, the nations don't show much concern. That is, until it's revealed they aren't immune to it either. A special quarantine is organized for the nations who have fallen ill as researchers around the world attempt to find a cure. It was a normal day. But, since that's a cliche line often used before stating that the day was, in fact, not normal in the slightest, it quite obviously wasn't a normal day. So lets start again, this time without suggesting anything strange is going to happen. There's not much worse than being proven wrong, and the sentence 'It was a normal day' was asking for something unusual to happen. Fortunately, the sentence in question was not one you'd often see outside of being the start of bad fanfiction, so it was highly unlikely that a sensible man like Berwald Oxenstierna would ever say it, and since this story focuses on him, there is no point on starting with that dreaded sentence.
